I'm watching Gundam 00 at the moment, it's a good anime. Favourites are probably DBZ, Naruto, Cowboy Bebop, Outlaw Star, Tenchi Muyo, and most of the Gundam series (haven't watched them all yet). There are probably others, but I can't remember them atm.

Oh boy, where to begin? I'm going to write a very long list, so you're welcome to leave the topic...

Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei (A very funny satire anime about a teacher in despair)
Macross Frontier (One of the few mecha anime series that I can actually torelate)
Gintama (Funniest piece of TV animation that I watched, since The Simpsons)
Natsume Yuujinchou (A really good shoujo anime that doesn't have a girl as the main character)
Kuroshijitsu (XD Yay! British pride! Er, I mean...this is a bit like Shadow Hearts, but sets entirely in good ol'Britatin and stars an eye-patched kid, a butler who has a very demonic secret and a whole bunch of weird, but colourful characters that the poor 'perfect demonic' butler that has to put it with them)
Nodame Cantabile (Funny anime about a musical perfectionist and a genius slacker; though I prefer the live-action drama personally, due the sheer insanity and actual great writing in each episode...)
Macross Zero (Again, like Macross Frontier, but this time with a beautiful, but sad storyline)
Azumanga Daioh (XD Funnier than Gintama and also with the best character I've ever enjoyed watching her)
Minami-ke (XD Reminds me of a relationship between my two sisters)
Kekkashi (Great shounen anime that doesn't require around 7-20+ episodes to get the storyline advance)
Busou Renkin (Again, like Kekkashi, only that it had a better, but very nicely developed storyline that doesn't require really longwinded fights)

Other honourable mentions go to the live-action Death Note movie (haven't seen The Last Name yet), Final Fantasy VII Advent Children, Voices of the Distant Star and a whole selection of the Ghibli movies. Phew...

Let see anime and manga like

Berserk- Love it just wish they'd continue the anime so it followed guts after he became the black swordsmen.
Hellsing- Close 2nd manga is great the original anime was alright but the OVA is brilliant.
Love Hina- I don't know why I like it but I do mainly the manga though not a fan of the animes series.
Trigun- Interesting story and characters
Full Metal Alchemist- Pulls off a decent story with humorous elements very well.
Bleach- Fight scenes love the fight scenes.

I always liked the writings of the author, Ken Akamatsu. :)
Even if the manga is more complete, it is a pity that it is not been there in succession.

I'm not a fan of Anime and I never really watch it. I watched Pokemon and Dragonball Z when I was growing up and I watched all of Love Hina a couple of years ago. I liked that series. I've also seen Naruto, but I lost interest in Naruto: Shippuden. I've seen a lot of Anime movies too. My brothers are into anime, you see. They are mainly into Dragonball and Gundam. It really gets on my nerves sometimes.

I was never really 'into' the quirky/girlie anime.. like Love Hina, sailor moon etc...

I never really understood its appeal.

~ Ergo Proxy (very mysterious, good story, interesting characters)
~ School Rumble (very very funny and also tragic at the same time, all the misunderstandings between the main characters)
~ Saber Riders (very old school, reminds me to my childhood)
~ Rock'n'Cop (same as above)
~ Mila Superstar (this is the german titel, don't know if that's the english name as well [Story is about a volleyball playing girl])
~ Dragonball (the origin where Goku is still a child and has his monkey tail, meeting Bulma etc.)
~ Gantz (well, I just don't like the ending but the rest is some kind of interesting)

Though Sengoku Basara isn't based on Samurai Warriors, It's based on the game Sengoku Basara (or Devil Kings as it is otherwise known as) which is visually similar to the Samurai Warrior games. But oh well i guess that doesn't really matter. :)

But anyways i really gotta say that there's been a somewhat good number of good anime series that started this month with series like Asura Cryin', Pandora Hearts and Valkyria Chronicles seems to be great but i have not watched it yet because i don't want to spoil the game that i'll be getting around June.

Well now i got a new favorite series, Basquash! People riding Bigfoots (Mechas) and playing Basket. It's just so goddamn awesome. The character designs are really nice and i really love how they got my three favorite voice actors to voice characters in it (Tomatsu Haruka who voices Rouge, Hayami Saori who voices Violette and Shizuka Itou who voices Sela D. Miranda). The series also has really great music and i love the band Eclipse in the series (which two of my fav voice actors are part of).

Also it has some funny names, like Iceman Hottie. :D

My favourite anime is Welcome to the NHK! When I began watching it, I didn't know what to expect. There's a comedy and drama at the same time, and the ending is great! Manga is good too, it differs from the anime. Better to say, anime differs frim the manga ^^'
Then, I like Samurai Champloo. Unusual atmosphere - Japan and rap/hip-hop o_O All three main characters are great ^^
I also like Code Geass: Hangyaku no Lelouch, Death Note and Naruto (when there are no fillers >_>)

i'd have to say i like Dragonball and Dragonball Z, but i didn't like Dragonball GT. Pokemon is ok but the show doesn't suit me too much. But one show i liked was that Avatar the Last Airbender. I thought it was a cool and good show but the new movie looks hopeless(as in terrible).

All four have in-depth stories, lovable characters with talented voice actors (Crispin Freeman, Masaya Onosaka, and Johnny Yong Bosch just to name a few), and awesome animation.

Well the anime isn't out yet (it's coming in July), but I've read the manga and it's awesome. Sadly the authors seem to have put it on hold or something so nothing new has been seen for quite a while sadly. :( I just hope that the anime makes the authors start on it again, or that Madhouse, the studio behind the anime, makes a good ending to the anime which can be considered a real ending instead of just a random stop like for the manga.

After watching quite a bit of anime now, I think I've finally settled on my favourite anime being Bleach. I love the silliness of it but then also the awesome action. I'm about half way through season 3 at the minute. Afro Samurai is also one of my favourites but Bleach has the edge now I think.
