This is what I'm currently playing at the moment on my PSP.
Great game, addictive customization, as always, and a hard challenge. Though I find myself struggling much more on the story path, not as much the random encounters.
Right now I'm closing on the end of chapter 3.

I finished it for PSX and PSP.
It's one of my fave FF because this game is really great, in every aspect.
The music, the story, the gameplay... I may have played at least 300 hours, if you count both versions.
It's true that the game is hard, but it's because you have to understand how to play. But the possibilities are just... infinite.

Yes i played it but the game is very hard the moster level up along with you and training your other guys is hard enough with that. But other than that Its still good and i am on Chapter 4 right now

I find myself doing 4-5 battles and losing a warrior, so I have to reload my file... It's a bit annoying to have to save after every encounter. Though having mutiple saves is my speciality in Final Fantasy games, as I'm always aware of missables and the like.
FFT:tWotL was the main reason why I - the sworn handheld-hater - bought myself a PSP... BoFIII was the other reason .D

Just got Orlandeau to worship. I heard how good he was lol! Also Cloud, but he's level 2...
Agrias has been the most useful person though.

I've only ever played the PSone version. Is the psp version any different?
The PSP version has a proper english translation, it's not in nonsensical gibberish.
Also the PSP version has added characters and the cut-scenes are pretty orgasmtastic.

There's slight differences such as the PSP version having different names for items and a Dark Knight Job. I'm sure there's a few other things as well.
I've heard it's a very good port/remake of the original I never played.

I've been holding off buying a psp as i've never really been interested in hand helds but since DWstrikeforce, FF and the remake of Persona in the works for the psp i'm getting kinda close to buying one now, argghhhhh, lol!
Too many games and so little time, lol!
Oh man, this thread reminds me... I gotta start shopping for PSP games.

Just before the final battles, but doing the rest of the stuff before closing the game.
Did or does anyone find the death noises funny? They're a little amusing. Also, when a human is confused it's like they are doing some kind of dance lol. I love both of these factors.
The death noises are the best! Honestly I think they're a lot better this way than if the characters were souting "Gaaah!" or "Hrnnngh!" or "Guwaooh!" when they go... Now it's just kinda like... "bleep!" XD

Well, I'm just before the final scenario so I'm doing all I can and finding the rare items at Midlight's Deep. I just love this game really, doesn't hurt to buy a tactical game every now and then. It's a shame I won't really experience the other modes for multiplayer though, since I would've liked the challenge and to get those items.
