My local EB has said that this game (DWSF) has been delayed until the 25th of this month. Is this true? or should I be looking to other shops?

I sure as hell hope it isnt true! I think I might check around see if its actually there, but I dont think Koei games make it this far inland, might have to check EB at Greenhills, but I guess they might not be lying about that kind of thing, wouldnt really be the first time either <_<

Really? The Australian website for EB says it's out already, maybe try the availability test there.

I did a product search where I live in Brisbane and yielded 34 positive results.

Something similar happened to me with DW:G1 which was a lie, so thought I would ask.

I am aware of the site search, that is why I asked EB if the game was in.

I havent really had the opportunity to get down to the shops to see if they even have the game, so no...not yet, but hopefully I can try and get it this weekend :)

EDIT: actually, I just looked online at the catalogue for the local department store, and they actually have Strikeforce under "must have games" ^^ and also for the description it had the description for Monster Racers, not Strikeforce :D LOL

I'm sure you'll get it this weekend. Maybe even today, or can't you go today?

I would be amazed if someone like Kmart got DW:SF before EB/GAME. I looked at the THQ Au site but it assumes I live in the UK so its not much help. GAME sadly has the game dated for the end of the month.. :(

Sadly, in many cases Australia games seems to get delayed just after the Europe release. I imagine GAME just has a placeholder (safe guess) date. At least EB has heard of the game where I live.

:( I feel kinda sad for you, I mean, it gets released in Japan first, obviously, then you watch US and the UK get it and your still waiting.

Things happen. Most of the games I get in Australia I am greatful for as my tastes are more than FPS+ Sports games, besides I imagine there are areas that wait longer than Australia (africa + middle east possibly?).

That said it makes sites GAMEFAQs extremely dangerous for spoliers, as people assume based on America/Europe dates that people finish games.

Today I just went to check if it was actually at the shops...and it wasnt -_- not really surprising though, but then again, my mum is going to Newcastle tomorrow, so im going to try and get her to get it at an EB games down there, if they have it ^^
