I got a PSP last week...

I've got 5 games for it. My favorite would have to be Warriors Orochi, for obvious reasons. Here's some games I WANT to get. Should I get them?

Dynasty Warriors
Dynasty Warriors Vol. 2
Samurai Warriors: State of War

Worth getting these three? I can get cheap prices online.

Also suggest some other PSP games for me to get. Thank you.

For the DW games for PSP, they are both pretty much the exact same, but since DW5 has the more characters, and I think personally that the whole system of that game is better, so I would say go for that one (Vol.2). Actually, in case you didnt already know, the way the battles are fought in the PSP games is in a grid style, while using the same landscape as the DW5 maps. You advance form square to square, fighting enemies and lowering the morale to 0, and then move on and continue fighting, and that continues untill win or lose conditions are met :)

SW:SOW is actually quite a good game, the only thing that really started to annoy me about the game was that it was a SW1 based game, so most of my favourites were not in it, like Nagamasa, Mitsunari, Sakon etc. but the gameplay in that one is quite good, its still the grid system as in the DW PSP games, but instead of just the fighting, you must complete missions within the squares to advance. Overall...I think it is a good game worth getting, if you want to soak up a bit of time :)

Another good Koei game on the PSP is Gitaroo Man Lives! :D It may sound like a pretty stupid game, and when you start out in it....it is, but once you get to the later stages, and you get used to the game, and the music, its quite a fun game :)

There are some pretty decent games mentioned in it particularly if you like RPG's. Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII is a definite buy, it actually blew me away to be honest.

To be honest, I don't think the DW & SW games on PSP so far are that great, certainly compared to WO anyway. They use a fragmented map style, so battles aren't as epic anymore and are stop start...quite frustrating really. I'd suggest getting only one to start with to see if you like the different way battles progress. It might save you some cash on shelling out on all three if you don't like how it operates.

But I agree with what silvertongue posted, if you like RPG's then Crisis Core: FFVII is a must, it's probably the best game on PSP.

Since I come from the Tacticalrpg-front I sugggest something completely different:

Disgaea ~ afternoon of darkness (quirky srpg with lotsa stuff to do and hillarious humor)

Final Fantasy Tactics ~ War of the Lions (A classic ported and revamped for the PSP also a must buy imho)

and lastly:

Patapon (Rythm Strategy game....its something crazy...and addictive)

Tekken - Dark Resurrection
CRISIS CORE - Final Fantasy VII
Final Fantasy Tactics - The War of Lions
Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops (first game, not plus!)

Those four are killer application.

Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII, a great action RPG!
God of War Chains of Olympus! Best action game on PSP!
If you like racing games, you can give Midnight Club LA Remix a try!

I already have Warriors Orochi for the PSP and I've preordered Strikeforce!
I'll just buy the SW+DW games for PSP when I have money and nothing to buy. I've found some interesting games to buy.
