Comparing the prices on US and EU stores we're paying something like 30% more on all DLC.

The worst example is heart on Ken's Rage (who i already own due to preorder), but is simply shocking. We're expected to pay 7.19 pounds compared to $6.99 for him, which is almost double. All the Ken's rage DLC is very overpriced.

DW7 is also way more expensive for us to. Considering we have to pay around 40 pounds for our games as Koei is doing limited shipments to the UK meaning we have to preorder or not get the game. This is really asking way too much of Koei fans. Especially as we're always being told the games are doing terrible in the US i don't see why we should have to foot an even bigger bill.

I somewhat agree with you there but keep in mind that nearly everthing in the US is kinda cheaper than here in the uk but i do agree with you, i dont see why dlc has to be involed in that equation as well.

Well I'm not completely certain, but I believe the prices are somewhat higher in europe because of the taxes. If i remember right, the taxes in the US are very low, while here in europe it's usually quite high.

So sadly, I don't think Tecmo Koei can do much, without lowering their own income, and i doubt they'd like to do that. Though it could be Sony who decides prices.

But I do think that they should lower the cost of older DLC (maybe about one year after the release or so), as that would probably increase the sales slightly.

Unless tax is around 70% which i know it isn't that certainly does not excuse the price of that heart DLC i named specifically.

I thought i'd PM Insp. Chin about this. Hopefully i get some sort of reply eventually.
