Sega RPGs (Valkyria chronicles, Skies)

I really hope Sega gives us a PS3 sequel to valkyria chronicles, even if it was only minor changes i'd still buy it.

Also stuff like Skies of arcadia which all of my friends insist is an amazing RPG really needs to be available for PSN or something.

I kinda get annoyed that Sega will announce stuff like sonic CD or ten other sonic games which aren't all that interesting and yet we're missing out on some genunine classics. I also want Shenmue.

If anyone has heard any news on any of these let me know.

I agree, the PS3 definitely needs a new VC game, and the argument that they need to do something "completely new" to create a PS3 VC is pretty retarded if you ask me. Hell it would even be enough if they used those PSP to PS3 enhancements Sony has announced on VC 2 and 3.

As i haven't played Skies of Arcadia i have no idea how it is, but I'm not certain that a PSN release would make me get it. Though I'm all for a HD remake! :D

SEGA Also needs to make Phantasy Star Online 2 for PS3 since i really doubt my PC can handle it, and i really, really need that game. After playing the original longer than any game, I'm just really excited about that game. :D

It would also be nice to see some new games in the Shining series for PS3. :)

I don't understand their shift to PSP in the first place. VC received a LOT of praise in America/Europe and pretty much everyone I know thinks the game is great. It was the first game I purchased for my PS3. I'd definately purchase a PS3 sequel to it.

As for PSO2 I think they're making it PC only, which suits me just fine. I've seen so many games held back by console limitations and it just gives developers less of a headache.

Never played Skies Of Arcadia so I don't know anything about it.
Valkyria Chronicles on the other hand I absolutely love. Like Zalvis and probably most people that own a PS3 I too will never understand the need to shift from PS3 to PSP it just seems like a stupid idea. Had the game been on PS2 originally I would've understood a port to PSP and continue down that road with the PSP. Let's hope the series returns to the PS3 though.

I swear sega only thinks people are interested in sonic hence the neglect of there other series, i mean seriously why was a streets of rage 4 never made.

But yeah i would be more then satisfied with a new shining game. Even if they used the old 16 bit engine and made it like a cheap PSN game i'd buy it. Those games were plain awesome and to this day are probably some of my favourite.

I'm hoping we get PSP to Ps3 ports of VC2 and 3 but honestly sega never seems to care about what fans want and just want sonic to be more popular then mario and it will never happen.
