Not just the DLC that is currently available in Japan, but can we expect more scenarios and new characters?

Not heard of any plans but with the launch of the international version in japan this is inevitably more likely.

New characters would be very welcome.

yes indeed, don't see the problem with adding characters that are in the game but are currently unplayable.

Even if they simply unlocked them in a similar manner to heart for dream and challenge mode that would be good enough. They don't need their own levels just the ability to play them :)

I would like the option to make your own characters like you could in some other dynasty warrior game a friend of mine had.

This is nigh on impossible.

Characters have damage models in this game, and have very detailed character models compared to DW. Anything they recreated would look out of place. Secondly the amount of work that would need to go on to make all those body part male and female with damage modelling would mean the cost of such DLC would be extortionate.

On the off chance you say that people don't need damage models on CAWs think of it like this Koei would actually attract criticism from the whiners (there are loads when dealing with JPN IPs) who would say if they didn't damage model them why would they bother. Sadly people with that kind of attitude are wrecking the game industry for the rest of us.

The older I get the more convinced I get that the people with the stupidest opinions are the ones who whines the most. However if they cant make it a cheap dlc why not make it an expencive expansion pack? If time and effort permits off course.. Or maybe it could be an idea for Fist of the North star two? You got to admit it would be an cool option to have.

Pretty much i also find the people who complain the most never ended up purchasing the game anyway, and just like to troll it.

I would like the above additions you mentioned to and i would get it if it was an expensive expansion pack, but at the same time, they need to make a profit or we won't get a sequel. So unless everyone is willing to buy it it won't work.

I'd rather have it in a sequel and then get characters who i wanted in this first game as playable versions to (Shuu, Ryuga, Jyuza). I think there's probably too much that could be added in this game to be covered with expansions.

Mind i'm just hpoing with the release of the international version in japan we will get the additional characters, although i suspect they can't do ryuga due to the fact he'd need a whole new set of death animations as his style is so different.

Is the Japanese edition so different than the international edition?
I hope for a sequel as this is my favorite game of the year so far.
The only Dlc is a must for this version is a new costume for Shin! he looks like Liberache! The purple broom he got around his wrist would punch over the glass everytime he would reach for a drink LoL!

The International version is basically the western release with its updates back in japanese.

This sold insanely well in JPN so a sequel is guaranteed. There will be a shin costume released within the next couple of weeks.

If the sequel can produce a slightly faster combat engine with the usual round of updates (characters, levels, signature moves) then I am sold....but to be honest even with only a few of these improvements I would mark out for a kens rage sequel.
