Which is your favorite?

It's such a hard decision to make for me, I really like them both. I see Lu Bu's as an intimidating song that's suppose to get you off-guard. And I see Tadakatsu's as a glorious song, that's there to raise your morale. I really like them both, but I think I'll go with Lu Bu's since there's many more versions to choose from. It's usually of very high standard in each title as well.

They are both some of the greatest themes ever made on Warriors games, but I find myself liking more Lu Bu's theme, first time I heard it (WO Version) It caught my attention, I was hoping something similar would happen with Tadakatsu's theme.

Either way they are both excellent themes.

Which is your favorite version? You've now listened to all? Mines from DW4. DW3 would be after that.

I prefer Lu Bus Theme. Tadakatsu Theme is good, but i like Lu Bus Theme more. I prefer the DW4 Version. I like to fight with Lu Bus Theme in the background. XD

My favorites would be WO and DW4 versions. I also liked DW3 and the one from SW1.
I didn't like DW5 version that much.

Lu Bu's or Tadakatsu's theme ? What a hard choice... >.<
I like so much both of these music themes, it's strong & cool, their themes represents also the series in a sort. Warriors' themes.
It's so hard to choose but I picked Lu Bu's because this theme reminds more Warriors themes.

Hard to say. For me it depends on which version of each song you're comparing. My opinion would change for each.

I had go with Lu Bu. You hear it and you know your trouble. lol
It does depend on which version of Lu Bu, some are better than others.

They're both very good.
Tadakatsu's is 100% BADASS. You hear it and say "Oh wow now I'm gonna kick some butt", while Lu Bu's is more dynamic and gets you all pumped up.

I'll go with Lu Bu.

Tadakatsu. Most of the time he's in your way and the music does not help relax nerves either. Lu Bu can be dodged or he's powered up only to a normal end of stage boss level (not a ohko level anymore).

Lu Bu, Dynasty Warriors 3 (NOT Extreme Legends) that was the most epic song in all of the Koei games that ive ever heard (second being Run, Run, Run! DW5, and third being March DW3, im listening to it)

I like mostly Tadakatsu's SW1XL theme and the Lu Bu theme of DW6

I like both, but Lu Bu's theme is better because it makes the fight more exciting (especially the Dynasty Warriors 4 version), while Tadakatsu's theme is good, but not as charismatic.

I definitely prefer Lu Bu's theme, I prefer the Warriors Orochi of Lu Bu's theme, it actually has a groove to it and yet still represent Lu Bu.

LU BU's for the win, its just so scary. You could be skipping around slashing soldiers and officers and then Lu Bu appers and you crap yourself from his theme and his overpowerness. (just wanted to note, I deafeted Lu Bu on DW7 first time i met him at Hu Lao Gate, He really his getting weaker through out the games.)

Yea, I have to agree. Lu Bu is such an overpowering menace but he DOES seem to lose some of his luster as games go on. I remember in DW4 he was almost impossible to defeat even when it was Guan Yu, Zhang Fei and Liu Bei all attacking him at once on Normal difficulty. Now, I can beat him on Chaos with almost no problem as long as I can get free from the soldiers surrounding that take little potshots to disrupt my chain of attacks. I used to kill Diao Chan all the time just to get him mad but now it seems like a moot task since it really doesn't make him any harder to beat.

I will say that in Warriors Orochi 2, when you have to play the Dream Scenario 4 or 5 where you face these two warriors (Lu Bu and Tadakatsu)at the end together, it is somewhat difficult if you can't split them up. Attacks galore and even with Zhao Yun fully powered and Yukimora almost there, I has trouble with it though never was defeated in any difficulty. They need to resurrect Lu Bu's monstrous defense and make it a bit more of a challenge to overcome him. I hated playing the chicken's role and running from him back in DW4 but it would be more of a challenge to beat him that way and get a weapon from him then jujst simply defeatig him like any other famous officer in the game.

I think it could be, although more historically accurate, but the simple fact you fight him many more times in the series nowadays.

Back then it was just Hu Lao Gate. They made sure he was really tough and recognisable.

More recently. Yes he still has good music, but he talks tough and is not always challenging. He retreats early at Hulao in DW7 because it's more accurate, henceforth not much difficulty is behind it in comparison.

I agree, it would get difficult if he had the same defense as he did back then but it would definitely be more challenging. In Warriors Orochi 2, it seems once you put ALMIGHTY on any character, it is virtually impossible, even on Chaos, to be beaten by anyone. With the exception of Okuni at Level 45, Proficiency 4, I've yet to be in any danger of dying at the hands of Lu Bu or anyone else. I miss the days where I would try to fight the old (nearly indestructible) Lu Bu just to achieve a sense of satisfaction in a victory. LOL

As for DW7, I just bought it but haven't played it yet because I'm trying to get the last 3 achievements for WO2 involving that final Dream Scenario where you have to acquire 2,730 total proficiency. I'm at about 1,900 right now so I figure in about two more weeks, I'll have that done finally to unlock the final character (Orochi X) and be able to complete all Dream Scenarios on all difficulties.
