Dynasty Warriors 6 Empires Ideas

I had a great idea. Well, I thought it was awesome.
I think that in Dynasty Warriors 6 Empires when you unlock generic officers you should be able to do Generic Officer edit. So maybe you think Ma Dai deserves a beard, or maybe you think Wen Chou would look better bald! Maybe give someone a different weapon. I like this idea. I mean, it's never going to happen but I wondered what you guys think of it.

Would you make a character you hate Short, Fat and Ugly!?

And I won't make characters I hate ugly or so. That doesn't really matter to me.

Based on the Japanese version of the minisite there is lots of things to make the CC system very interesting. Including things such as glasses and near emperor models so you may just get your wish.

That site is probably the most exciting DW thing I've seen online. I really hope they do this, but if they did I wouldn't want them taking Edit Officer slots with Edit Generic Officer looks.

its a pretty good idea if they dont take up slots for your original customs i would definitly do some editing on cheng pu han dang and cao hong because to be honest they deserve there own appearence and maybe zhu ran because he plays a key role in yi ling also maybe for ling cao zhang liang and zhang bao

i think 4th weapons would be great, but easier to obtain like in DW4 empires. also i think u should be able to have more options, like defecting sides, or seperating from forces. and i REALLY think the Han should be optional, or towards the end, JIN!!:p

I hope we can use old costum made at the previous Dynasty Warriors, tactics that we use does not work, more detail in the edit mode, and the enemy is more clever in using the strategy. plz online play

Online play would not be good for this game, in fact it would be the opposite of good. The shear mass of kinks and glitches, as well as the different times, characters, and forces would make it not worth it. It would be a sad attempt at a game if any amount of time was put into Online play that could be used to making the game more interesting and challenging.

Though that's not saying that we should not be against the idea in general, it is just... not worth it.

I know my ideas are very strange, but DW can be made more challenging or interesting with online play.
Because almost all the games released lately can be played online.

Sure, any game you could make an online setting for it...its just the matter of it actually working, and either way, the DW series alraedy has an online game DWO, although that is quite different I know.

Dont get me wrong, it would be a great idea for an online empires game...but I think in theory only could it actually work.

I would edit Shang Xaing and make her have a voice that is more befitting. Maybe have some scars and things for the girls. Can we change the hair and things? The more things we can change the better the enjoyment we get.

This is a really silly question but can someone please tell me what CAW is? Please :o

What i want :

-Control the officer that we shouldn't be able to :P ( you know, officers like Huangfu Song, Dong Xi ( ), and all the others with the same skin )
-Higher attack frequency : at least the same frequency in DW2
-The Yellow Gauge : the gauge that decreases each time a Soldier is killed, when this gauge = 0, the officer loses one star, like in DW2 too
-Bodyguard : Being able to choose how many guards you want, and their rank (for example : if they get enough XP for the rank Major, you can choose between Private, Sergeant and Major)

Sorry, my english is not very good, but I hope you can understand what I mean.

Edit :

-Colors : Being able to choose your own color in Fiction mode + bases and army must have the same colors => Dong Zhuo's bases would be Violet, instead of blue/red
And I think the most important => SOLDIERS ! There are not much soldiers in all Empire games, would be better with more and more soldiers :P

This Empires is set to be the best Empires yet. I know there's only two currently, but the CAW mode looks to be a proper, fully-fledges character creation, with lots of accesories etc.

I cannot wait.

CAW means create a warrior short for custom mode;)

I know what you mean about dian wei.I had to be him to get the platinum trophy.He is unplayable on harder difficulties.Same with meng huo.Half of the weapon/moveset changes from 5 were for the worse.

I'm still looking forward to playing a game which KOEI has introduced online capabilities to in the Dynasty Warriors series, I guess there is after all only one way to find out weather online would work or not for this game and that would be by placing an online download on the XBOX Live marketplace.

I think the idea of editing generic officers is good, I'd probably do something incredibly nasty like make Zhen Ji short and fat...

Bottom line is, don't give your hopes up. I'm sure KOEI has a few more things to place on the downloadable list for this game.

why did koei take out the strategy that allows you to choose rulers for each state and distribute reinforcements when a battle occurs this takes away alot of strategy and hurts the game in my opinion. it is still fun to play but it is disappointing these features are gone.

I liked the ambush and fire attack system from Dynasty warriors 5 Xtreme legends if they made bases hard to capture like in XL then empires would be more fun, and If they had some sort of skill system, I.e. depending on your level you can unlock 1 ability for example a strategy one, a fighting one, and a secondary one : Fire attack, Evo attacks, Resist arrows etc. :D

Online Play:

I think the online idea should definitely be given some serious thought. The logistics may be hard to work but seriously in this day and age some form of online play should be available. Besides the first try could give way to more improvement in future installments.

Generic Officer Edit:

I like this idea a lot as long as it does not take up CAW slots.

CAW:

This works ok in DW6E but it is still far from perfect. More options are needed. I also think that one should have the option to choose both weapon and moveset which could differ. Example you choose Cao Cao's weapon but Lu Bu's moveset. Plus some new weapons would give more depth to CAW. Also it would be really ace if you can have moveset from SW as well. This would make CAW truly awesome. Finally players should have the ability to share their CAW officers like in ModNation Racers.

Other Ideas:

Yes the strategy part does need more depth in my opinion. One should also be able to capture officers. Also there should be a limit to how much a general returns to the battlefield after he is defeated which corresponds with the number of units he has.

I would like mercenry thingie like on dw5 empires you could order certain people like beast masters or whatever and not just have random juggernauts sometimes
