Who do you like to play as most?

What characters do you love to play as most on the Samurai Warriors series of games?

I never really got into the first Samurai Warriors, so my favourite characters to play as have to be Magoichi and Hideyoshi on SW2. They just have the best move sets! :)

If Yukimura Sanada and Zhao Yun are selectable from the get-go in any Warriors games, then them. They will both be the ones I try to get the special weapons for first as well. So my answer is Yukimura. But really, it's hard to say since I get all the special weapons and maximize all the characters, even those I'm not really interested in because you get something worthy out of it.

And in response to yours, I'm not that much of a fan of Magoichi myself, but I like Hideyoshi in SW2 very much.

I didnt know about SW1 at the time...so the first one I played was SW2, and the first character I played was Mitsunari...he, along with Magoichi, Sakon and Kanetsugu, took up most of my playing time...oh, Nagamasa also, those 5 are my favourite SW characters, and also the ones I play as the most :D

True, I guess. I've played as Ieyasu but I don't think I've ever played as Goemon.

Lol, when I first saw Ieyasu's weapon, a laughed so hard...it one of the most rediculous weapons that you will ever see...but then again, his moveset is quite useful at times, so its not all that bad ^^

Hattori Hanzo always liked ninjas, his move set is pretty decent and I love his quotes and attitude where the other 3 ninja all annoy me.

I can't stand Nobunaga's Musou, but Musashi and Kotaro have awesome looks and move sets.

Nobunaga's musou is just really for fleeing, catching fleeing units, or for the musou power-up that's exclusive to the Samurai Warriors series.

I personally would like to see a change, even if the change resembles another demonic attack.

Yeah his lvl 3 Musou in SW2 turns the musou much more helpful, well not just Nobunaga but all the 3 characters I choose have some of the worst musou's of SW. I rarelly use Musou, Often use it to clear a crowd of enemies or escape from a dangerous situation. Nobunaga could use a better Musou in a future SW game.

Don't count on it though. Unless he gets another weapon that's. As Koei tend to cling onto attacks that have been in the past, and reuse. I know for a fact that they seem to switch a certain attack through a Zhao Yun/Yukimura Sanada cycle, which is the quick jabbing. So I think a weapon change will make this more likely for it to be removed and replaced.

Oichi most of the time, but I also enjoy playing as Okuni, Nö and Ina.

Okuni probably, because she's hilarious, loves to flirt with the male SW characters and she has an umbrella as her main weapon. XD

Gracia is the runner up, due to the fact that she plays very differently than most of the SW characters and that she's a powerhouse at casting magic upon thousand of unlucky troops. XD

For the male counterpart, it's probably Sakon Shima, as I love his Elvis touch (XD) and his personality just rocks. The second would have to be Keiji, if his voice wasn't sounded like Michelangelo from TMNT, so the next bet would have to be Nagamasa, due to his blonde hair and how he acts like a knight in shining armour.

Tadakatsu obviously he has the best stats and movset his move set is extremly fun to use as well as being extremly effective

I like Musashi Miyamoto the most. He's easy to handle. His movements are nearly perfect. In Samurai Warriors 2 he's definitely the best character, cutting down every opponent in his way. There it's also very easy to get up the survival tower. Playing with him makes me sometimes feel like I'm indestructable XD

Musashi Miyamoto.
He is an real slayer of his time, the charackter is absolutly amazing and has an interessting history. The Weapon Mastery and Vision is definitly the best looking weapon in SW.

But I´m also a very big fan from Masamune Date (look on my name, you see I´m a fan xD) He has an cool fightingstyle, i like his outfit and his history is also veeery interessting.

I picked No first because I love her appearance, her character but I think her power lowed a bit on SW2 as well as her moveset (cut) but she is still my fav

(For Girls) Nene (also Kunoichi's moveset (in SW1) even if she's harder to control sometimes), Gracia (her moveset are very special & unique ^^), Oichi (Her Cup&Ball move are original too), Ginchiyo (She's the strongest female character & a warrior indeed ^^), Ina (yeah her bow is super even if miss a bit of power sometimes), well I also like others girls moveset (Nouhime & Okuni, Okuni in last because her weird Musou)

(For Boys) Mitsunari (He has special & great moveset with his fan) Nagamasa (His moveset have a good style & he has an European weapon :p ) Kanetsugu (Unique moveset with magic charms attacks) Motochika (of course! with his cool weapon :p ) Mitsuhide, Sakon, Nobunaga & Kojiro, there're maybe others one, but I think I wrote characters I play the most XD

As far as male characters go, I love Magoichi Saika. He has such a funny personality around the ladies which I tend to laugh at because he ends up failing with them. Good weapon for long range attacks and has some good charge attacks to wipe out large crowds in front of him.

For female, Tachibana Ginchiyo. She is the only female who's weapon I can handle pretty good without having much trouble.

I never played the first SW, but I would choose Kunoichi. Even though she's super annoying, she's got an awesome move set (especially her musou attack. twirls of death!) In SW2, it'd be Okuni or Ina. I like Okuni's C3 and Ina's random arrow attacks. In SW2: XL, either Motochika or Gracia. Motochika's shamisen is beast and Gracia's C5 and musou is awesome. :D

Sakon Shima for sure, great moveset, appearance, voice actor (SW2 - not WO) and personality, I hope he doesn't change much in future Samurai Warriors titles.

Next, out of the ladies I use Ginchiyo the most - I just love her attack speed!

Uh, Hideyoshi for fast crowd clearing (and gold mine of course), Mitsuhide for quick slash, Keiji and Yukimura for running through hordes of peons and call horse, Mitsunari for his nice combo (and charge button twice/ CC), Kanetsugu for his awesome combo (NNNCC), Masamune for gun wielding char, Magoichi for crack and fun, oh my, that's a lot of char already...

Series: Yukimura, Nobunaga, Keiji, Masamune (yep, both kid and adult) and Ranmaru

I only use Okuni in SW1 because from SW2 onwards they changed her voice and attitude, making her unbearably annoying to me.

Also, in Orochi 2 I use Katsuie, too.

In general I tend to like most of the SW characters and much pefer them to the DW ones both in terms of looks and moveset. Then there are some charcters I like to watch but not as much playing with like Shingen and Kunoichi.

Its hard to list the favs since I like most of them but for Hideyoshi, Garcia, Keiji, Fuma, Kenshin and Miyamoto are some of those I really like.

I really hate playing as Ina, No, Kinoichi, Ranmaru and Hanzo.
