I noticed that our friend list from the Forum doesn't show any of my
friends, but by clicking "Edit Friends List" I can see all of them from Mykoei.

I don't if this is actually a bug but...

I can't seem to upload a decent-sized avatar through the Control Panel (The maximum size of the custom image is 100 by 100 pixels or 19.5 KB, that lowers the quality image of a normal avatar a lot) But I can upload one from Mykoei with 120x120 and +30 kb. Its the one I currently have.

And also the signature kb limit seems to be only 9kb...

If I find any errors/bugs I'll post here.

This is a bug yes, we have to list them all out and ask for the fix later on. I got some on the list.

- Friends in Forum has gone disappeared comparing to MyKOEI one. Like when you check your friends on MyKOEI it's 100 and it's only 3-4 when you check it on the forum.

- The forum background should be changed based on what users have chosen for their profile, or else default one should be displayed, for now old members seemed to have some other background.

- Increase the size of the avatar and signatures. (this isn't a bug but I list just in case I forget)

- Upcoming games should be appeared and able for members to add into their wishlist.

- Increase forum font size, current one is way too small.

- BBCode doesn't work on Reply/Full Reply (cannot adjust the font size/style, etc)


Let me know if there's any more bugs and I'll compile all of them and send it to the development team next week :) Thanks for the help in finding those annoying bugs :3

- we can't make text bigger/smaller by using the code provided on Full-Reply.

- We can't also use different colors

There's a bug with avatars. The limit is currently 100x100 or less than 9kb on the forums, BUT if you remove your avatar on the forum and just upload it using MyKOEI Profile you can bypass the size limits. Hence why everyone's avatars are over 100x100. The limit really should be like 150x150 or less than 150kb.

Was that happened before or now? I believe I've changed the option for that an hour ago. Now the avatar size is 120x120 maximum for both MyKOEI and forum so for those who uploaded previously (145x145) for their avatars, they still have that size until they upload the new one.

I just checked the CP I believe it's 120x120 with 50000 bytes (less than 50KB) for the registered users which has been fixed?

No, it's not fixed. I just tested with this new avatar. It seems that the limit is 145x145 since the avatar I uploaded was originally 200x200. The forum avatar size limits aren't applying to the MyKOEI profile pics. Someone needs to set it so they both have the same limits/rescaling.

I've put them back on 145x145 for both MyKOEI and forum, hope it's okay now. As for the file size, do you know the exact number? I believe it's around 50KB, if it's around that number it should be alright.

Another error I noticed is that "Introduction Thread" should say "Introductions" or something instead. The section itself is not a thread and there is a thread called "Member Welcome Thread" in it already.

Judging from the topics created, we may change the name later on. This forum has just started 3 days ago, and there are still more needs to be fixed, thanks for the heads up.

For some reason everytime I go on Mykoei, it says i'm not logged in.

When I log on again it does nothing, this happened a few times but by going to the forum and coming back seemed to fix the problem, but not this time it seems. Am I the only one having this problem?

EDIT - I can't log out either, everytime I log out i'm sent to Mykoei and i'm still online on the Forum.
Clearing the Cookies will probably fix it anyways.

EDIT 2 - Never mind clearing the cookies fixed it.

Sorry it's because we restarted the server to make www.koei.co.uk and koei.co.uk sharing the same cookies. And I forgot to ask you guys to reset the cookies, so everything is fine now. ^^

I don't think the reputation feature is working correctly. It doesn't allow you to view how much rep you have or other people.


EDIT: I just saw you can click on the rep button on your own profile and it shows how much rep you have, but it doesn't show who it's from. It's very simple.

Its not been experimented with yet. I believe the admin's can vary the controls since it's limited (only allow to + karma and then have to spread for instance)

You can also view in User CP (on the top left.)

Dear Staff,

I am having the same problem ever since I've arrived here.

I took a screenshot of the problem:

I will get that message after every 2 or 3 clicks regardless whether it's the main site or the forum.

Other information:

1. I've visited other vBulletin/similar pages, every page loads fine.

2. I've tried many other browsers FireFox/TencentTraveler/Internet Explorer/etc.


I was wondering what this problem might be and how to fix/prevent it.

Zhen I believe its some problem with your browser, cookies or some other reason that stops you from loading the website, I remember experiencing the same on some Vbulletins before but not in this one so far.

I just got this error when posting on the French section, it doesn't allow me to post and says I included 5 images on my post.
Or smilies do count as images? :confused:

Yes, the smilies do count as images, and its only allowing you to have 4 of them per post...so if you have a very long post, spend your smilies wisely ;)

I think this sucks personally! As I've written the developer a list of changes already (I forgot to include this in) I think the image limit thing we may need to switch it to unlimited in the future :3

Well I've got a small bug kinda but I think it may just be because I'm using Internet Explorer 8 but when I click on on image in the screenshots section for the games wel lbasically it doesn't load the image it just stays as a white box with the spinning circle,I have to right click on the screenshot I want to view and click on either open link in new tab or open link in new window.

I just checked and gave up after two minutes so it lasts at least two minutes and actually I noticed from my router it seemed to have stopped downloading the picture,when I was on IE7 it loaded within 10 seconds.,the strange thing is if I open up a picture in a new tab/window and then just normally click on the picture again it loads fine,but the others are still the same.

Have you tried with Firefox? I always use Firefox 3.0.6, So I can't really help on that.

okay, this is probly just my computer but i wonder why it happens and if i can fix it,
so you know how there are pictures on the sidebars, well there cut off i can only see half of them but on my laptop which has a smaller screen than my computer i can see the whole picture

Press CTRL and + at same time or CTRL and - at same time, see if that fixes your problem. :)

The developer has been looking into the IE8 thing. Its a problem with lightbox and the current IE8 beta (well, all of the IE8 betas actually in varying degrees!). Once the IE8 release candidates are out and the browser behaves predictably then we'll check everything and get any of the new compatibility problems sorted. They suggested for now that anyone having problems should use the latest firefox / opera or IE7 and avoid using the IE8 beta. (it is after all still in beta stage and can be expected to do odd things).



And 64crayons, what I meant are you able to show us the screen cap of the problem, sorry for the inconvenience.

64Crayons, if you don't know how to printscreen;

Hit the "Prt Sc" key on your keyboard while your here on the forum with that problem. Open paint > Edit > Paste, save it preferably as JPEG so it doesn't take ages to upload. Then Upload it to http://www.tinypic.com/ and paste the link the site will give you.

Of course it's bug, a damn bug that is. I've fixed it by changing your tag [sigpic] to [img] manually. Damn tho I wish we can improve this whole koei.co.uk to even better. I will write more and more reports for the changes after I finish DWG2 and DWSF site :)

There's an error on the Fatal Inertia page. It says "Fatal Inertia EX" when it should just be Fatal Inertia since the Xbox 360 version doesn't have the "EX" part.


Also on both of the official Fatal Inertia sites, the "United Kingdom" link is broken.

Rate them?? Do you mean the survey form? Yes I filled that in.

You know to the left you have “edit my games” I have a choice of 5 games (PS3). Then you continue and it comes up with “most popular” click DW5 for example, then “I own this game for PS2” then there is a message that says are “you sure you want to add this game to your list” click yes, then fill in form and send it and nothing happens.

If you press the Edit My Games you should go straight to the games list and not to happen what I bolded on your post.then fill in form and send it and nothing happens. Hmm, which browser are you using? try using a different one from the one your using atm and see if that fixes the problem. I hope your problem is soon fixed. =)

How do I change the background of my profile? I tried it on both Internet Explorer and firefox and it doesn't seem too work.

I have the problem of my avatar sometimes taking a while to change to a new one, if i'm not mistaken i've also experienced the same with the background before. Try waiting a bit or logout and re-login.

It works fine for me. Remember when you want to update your avatar, please tick the box "Overwrite My Current Avatar with this preset" then UPDATE PROFILE (not UPDATE TOP FRIENDS) :)
