Your favourite 'little detail' of the Dynasty Warriors games?

For me, it would have to be the fact that it says KOs in the corner rather than Kills. I don't know why, but whenever I see that, it gives me a warm feeling inside since I'm not just slaughtering everyone on the battlefield, rather I'm just knocking them out so they live to fight another day.

Blinking eyes :P In DW6 if you adjust the camera viewing on HD TV you can see the character eyes are blinking :P

In dw6 I like how the characters hair and clothing move.

mine would be, when you ambush a troop on DW6, they all say.. 'What's that!?'

Makes me laugh.

The little taunts the enemies throw at you from time to time, like when you leave the duel circles they'll occasionally say something down the lines of; "you dare turn your back on me?"

Both of these, agreed. But his bells should've done that in 5, it was a bit late to implement. Still, a cool add. Plus I wholeheartedly agree with the second, the crowds raising their weapons when you take a base in a fast moving game (6 is quite fast after all), or kill an officer, is just awesome. One of the best minors they've added yet - I'm hoping it'll be in SW3.

I like it when certain characters smile especially ones that are like Sun Quan. He smiles alot considering how serious he is half the time.

I'm not sure if thos one is 'small' but some times at a random base with a lot of officer types in it I hear a bell/alarm ring then all the troops make a big circle around you and the officers.

Today I was playing on allied side of Hu Lao Gate and Lu Bu came out. Of course Yuan Shao was in trouble. So instead of taking out Lu Bu, I decided to go find Yuan Shao.

Well I found him inside a base, on his horse, at the top of where you collect the meat bun.

...and then he says something like he didn't need help, he was fine (I don't remember the exact wording)

I had to laugh though because any other leader of a stage would be in the thick of the battle at that point :p

The bodies on the floor in DW6. That "little" detail of that game was great for immersion.

In DW2 there was a bar telling you of how much people needed to be koed before a officer would lose morale. Was great for prolonging battles.

I hate how when an officer you can play with is in trouble and you go to save him/her he/she is sometimes on a horse. Of course your'e not going to win a battle against an officer on a horse! (this is in ps2 DW6 not sure about the others)
Now I shouldn't change the subject. I also like it when the people cheer. Ill have to check if the characters really blink in DW6

in DW6 when you successfully launch a surprise attack its the troops knees shaking.
Just look at those knees, they are bricking themselves.

The knees do shake haha, thats really funny and pretty cool.

I love climbing ladders because its fun to launch the surprise attacks and make it easier to break down a castle door.

Very minor, but I like how the commander gets a big T on the battlefield map menu (except for DW4 and DW5), otherwise it's annoying as you can't see the commander instantly on the map!
