V best warriors game?

hay all,

i've recently purchased warriors orochi 2 and my god. i've never liked a DW/SW so much!initally, there's th problem of downgrading everything to accomedate warriors of 2 different series, let alone make new ones and a game out of it. personally, i think it's th best hackn slash game yet, purely because of the amazing collaboration of 2 very sucessful franchise. the weapon system is outstanding for me. instead of th generic weapions tht are predetermined before unlcoking, we can actually customize and perfect features tht go with our weapons!!something th really helps to set apart th noobs from th pros:cool:

perfect? more like overpower in a heartbeat. The warrior games wouldve been 100 times better without the abillity to custom weapons.

What I love about WO2 is the massive range of characters. And in the PSP version there are 4-more haha. What a choice.

Overall I would rate WO2 as my third favourite Musou game. No.1 DWSF, No.2 DWG2, No.3 WO2 I think ^^

Sure, its a great game, but it does have its flaws, like sometimes....you really dread having to level up and get max proficiency for all 90+ characters, makes you think that there just might be a few too many characters just for the one game, even though it does seem to work.

Im going to agree with Leady FF ^^ with the ranking of this game though :D Strikeforce gets 1st, DWG2 gets 2nd, and WO2 gets 3rd.

Eh, this game has one massive flaw: its (lack of) difficulty.
Once you achieve Lv99, you're a BEAST. Chaos mode becomes Normal mode. Anything that's not Chaos mode becomes Uragawd mode.

Powering up weapons may have been a good idea, but having all those effects stacking is overkill. Flash and Bolt alone are broken. Fire is useless because you don't need to juggle anyone: they die in 2 hits!
The additional effects are even more overpowered, not to mention you can get up to 3 for each weapon.
...you can solve this by using first weapons and limiting your elements and effects, but there's still the level issue.

Another thing is that, for having 90-odd characters, WO2 has very few stages :(

All that aside, it's a very fun game and one of my personal favorites (SW1 stays no. 1, though)

there's also something tht cropped up. i've nearly complete th game in 3 weeks of starting...admittedly, flash meant u win nearly every time(unlesss u really cant pull of charge attacks) and 3 elements weapons r unfair but the game as a whole lacks playability.!!only thing i found hard was th randomicity of weapon gain, finding th right spec for upgrades. evn thn, play chaos mode(ehich is too easy for lvl 90 characters with flash and th correct specs)and u'll soon get what u need!!D: at least forcing players to regain treasures used for upgrades would make it tht much longer a game!!!:(

nice to see such a vast variety of weapons though. 40 charcters maxed so far and another 20 at lvl 60+....to soon!!!!!!!!

i guess you could say its a good game for a perfectionist then?

ill always like DW3 the most because its the one i started with and got into the genre, but i agree that the game is just too easy
