So guess what?
Remember when my PS3 died and I found somebody that could fix it? Well they couldn't. It's only took them since April to figure out that they can't fix it. It came back 3 times, twice it never worked and the 3rd time they didn't put the harddrive back in and when they did it still didn't work.
Anyway they refunded my money (which they should've done) and they even gave me some extra for the inconvenience which again I'm happy with but it's the least they could've done in my opinion. So after all the trauma I went out and bought a new shiny machine today, YAY!!
Anyway I've been that long out of the loop with PS3 games I was wondering if you guys could give me some recommendations? The last ones I got were Disgaea, Resi Evil 5 and Eternal Sonata. I still need to buy Silent Hill yet too.
:)

I think it's more because it feels like a life time since I had my PS3 :D
Pre-ordered DW6E and I need to buy DWGundam2.

I don't know what I'd do if my console went belly up on me.
Oh and, how many GB does that new baby have? I have the old 60Gb model with PS2 backwards compatibility and I'm starting to get pretttyyy close to using up all the free space on my hard drive. The thought of it is kinda... stressing me out.
I wanna get a 160Gb drive for the thing soon.

Notice how I didn't entertain that stupid comment that that person put about spamming? lol. Although I just did, lol!
My new little baby has 80GB. I was forever deleting stuff off of my 60GB. The only thing that's really bugged me is losing all my saved stuff (however I have been backing up this time, lol).
I do miss the backwards compatibility but hey ho I suppose it just gives my PS3 a rest now when I'm playing a PS2 game.
As for you getting a 160GB drive I don't blame you and it's supposed to be pretty easy-ish to replace the harddrive. I wouldn't know though as I haven't done it but there are plenty of vids and tutorials online.
Got myself Dead Space the other day along with Silent Hill Homecoming. I'm pretty much enjoying Dead Space, far more jumpy moments than Resident Evil5 had. I think the suspense got kinda lost in Resi 5 due to there being so much non-stop action, I still love the game though. Haven't tried Silent Hill yet but will do soon :)
Resident Evil hasn't really been a horror series in a while, has it?
I mean... It's not like RE4 was scary either.
Still, RE4 and RE5 are some of the best games around, horror or not.
Dead Space on the other hand totally creeped me out. And I think it's a really smooth game gameplay-wise as well. I think it's great that EA wants to turn it into a series.
Silent Hill: Homecoming might disappoint, though... or not, depending on what your expectations are. If you think "Hey! I bet this is a really good horror game" you probably won't be all that disappointed. But if you think "I hope the people at Foundation 9 and Double Helix studios know how to make a proper Silent Hill game" ... then you might not be very happy with this game. Sure it's way more scary than Resident Evil 4 or 5, but there's a lot of stuff - especially with the plot - that just doesn't feel like Silent Hill. I miss the feel of the good old SH games developed by Team Silent.
Oh and about the hard drive business.
Yeah, I've watched some videos of how to change the hard drive. It's not difficult at all. I wouldn't even attempt it if it was. I'm just thinking about wether or not I should get an external drive to make all the backups first or is it enough that I copy my saves to my computer with a flash drive and then transfer them back to the new hard drive. Some save files like the Network Data for Devil May Cry 4 and Street Fighter IV can't be copied onto a flash drive... but... maybe that's not a problem at all.
network data? i dont think thats as important as saves. i think its not even close XD
anyway, try infamous dude. its great.
oh and i still have the 40gigabiter and well...life is hard....need to delete stuf quite often...i can only keep several instals of game XD only one spot is reserved for mgs4 XD others are constantly changing. i LOVE oblivion's and fallout 3's installs. its so nifty how they are installing while youre actually playing the game. but yeah...hard life with constantly deleting stuff. but still better than spending money on a harddrive one does not need. (ahem, sorry for the obviousness XD)
Hmmm, why is this thread in the Fun Area?
I'll move it to the General, I think it's best suited there.

To be honest the only co-op games I've played are Dynasty Warriors 7, 7XL and Warriors Orochi 3.
